Based at Chailey, near Lewes, East Sussex, Michael Rodaway took delivery of his McHale Fusion baler wrapper for the 2005 Silage Season.

Michael commented, "It really has performed well. We have a few hills in our parts of the world and when using other makes of machine on down hill slopes, I was plagued with bales losing their way as they transfer from the chamber to the wrapping unit - some have dropped off and others have got stuck half-way" he says "this machine seems to cope well, whatever the terrain".

Geoff Thomas, his wife Yvonne and their son Rhodri run a contracting business at Pantycoch, near Fishguard in Wales.

With the McHale F550 average hourly output was 55 bales per hour, up over 10 bales more per hour on previous brand owned.In relation to the features, Geoff also liked the greasing and oiling system, the drop floor unblocking system and the in-cab control box which Geoff described as "comprehensive but straight forward to use."

Tjerk Okkema runs a contracting business in Easterein in Holland and runs two McHale Fusions. In a normal year Tjerk does 10,000 bales, this can be broken down into 6000 bales of silage, 1,500 bales of haylage, 2,000 bales of hay and straw, and 500 bales of Lucerne.

Brian Reale has been running a contracting business since 1997. Brian bought his Fusion from Nunan Farm Machinery in Limerick. Brian does 15,000 round bales per year which can be broken down into "10,000 bales of silage and 5,000 bales of hay".

Liam Trench runs a very successful contracting business from his base in Garryduff, which is just outside Claremorris in Co. Mayo. Liam bought his first Fusion in 2004, and bought a Fusion 2 in 2007. "The Fusion 2 also performers better in hills as the bale transfer is simpler and more positive, as the bottom half of the chamber travels higher to transfer the bale".
