Padraig Brosnan is a farmer in Farranfore Co. Kerry. He bales 500 bales per year, 400 bales of silage and 100 bales of hay. After using his baler for a year Padraig said he liked the "progressive greasing, the ribbed roller design and the knife protection" on the F550 round baler.

Fredrick Woods farms and contracts in and around Athboy, Co. Meath. Fredrick summed up that he is "very happy with his McHale machine".

Brendan O' Hagan has been farming and contracting in and around Killybrone, Co. Monaghan since 1993. Brendan has been using McHale machines for ten years. Brendan finished up by saying "it's a great machine that will work morning 'til night, without a bother, a machine I know will not let me down".

Andrew Patterson is "farming on a beef farm in Northern Ireland and bales two or three cuts of silage a year", Andrew has been farming for 10 years. He has been using his McHale F550 for two years and does his own work. Andrew commented, " I like fixed chamber balers and this is the best one I have found".

Stuart has now been using his 991 LBER round bale wrapper for two years and said he the main feature he likes "is the remote control, as we can have one person wrapping and stacking and don't need someone standing next to the machine. It is also good in the field as you can set it wrapping and you don't have to hold buttons or levers, it does it all automatically".

Stephen Feely is a dairy farmer in Co. Monaghan who bales 1,000 bales per year, which can be broken down into 900 bales of silage and 100 bales of hay. Stephen finished up by saying " I am very happy with my McHale as it has given no trouble and it is also saving me money".

Matthew McKenna is a Monaghan Farmer who does his own baling and some work for his neighbours. Mathew told, us that he purchased the McHale F550 "as it is one of the McHale products and I would trust them all the way and they are baler s built to suit Irish conditions."

John O Sullivan is based in Rathcoole, Mallow, Co.Cork. He runs a contracting and farming business. As part of the contracting business he does 24,000 bales per season. Overall John said he is "very happy" with his two F550s and "would be very happy to recommend them to anyone".

When asked why he chose to buy a McHale F550 Ian told us that he was "fed up with his previous brand of baler and user reports of the McHale F550 were good in the area".
After using the F550 baler for a year Ian said "I like the high capacity pick up reel and the dense bales".
