"The McHale F550's have a very high capacity and the machines are very reliable"

We run a livestock farm, which requires large quantity of forage. Our yearly consumption is 6.000 tons of straw and 2.500 tons of Lucerne and grass. We bought our first McHale F550 baler in 2007. After one year we had very good experience with it, so we decide to buy another McHale F550.

At the end of the 2010 season both machines have more than 37.000 bales done. Very often our McHale F550's are working 24 hours a day. Service intervals are minimised, thanks to the automatic oiling and greasing system. Apart from the high capacity, the machines are very reliable.

Our McHale F550's make 50-60 bales per hour. Over the last few years we had hot summers and unlike other balers our McHale F550's had no problem keeping the bale turning in the bale chamber. As a result we kept working while other farmers had to go home."
