The McHale TerraDrive option enhances your baler’s performance in challenging terrain by  upgrading the standard main axle to a hydraulic drive axle.

Hydraulic motors in the TerraDrive axle enable the baler’s wheels  to provide additional traction.

 

TerraDrive helps distribute the workload more efficiently, improving mobility and reducing strain on the tractor.

TerraDrive assists the tractor when operating in soft, wet or hilly conditions and improves traction & performance in difficult conditions.

When connected to an ISOBUS tractor, TerraDrive will automatically engage/disengage as appropriate during the various stages of the baling cycle, automatically match the tractor speed, and automatically engage/disengage when operating on slopes

The TerraDrive axle is fitted on a new Vredestein VF 710 tyre. This has an evenly distributed footprint designed for reduced soil compaction and preservation which can increase productivity and fuel efficiency.
