Importer Update in Norway: Maskindrift AS

Maskindrift AS has been an importer of McHale products since 1993 and was one of the first importers established outside McHale’s home markets of Ireland and the UK. Over more than 30 years of constant collaboration Maskindrift AS has played a key role in establishing McHale’s strong and unique market position in Norway.

Maskindrift AS is now jointly owned by Norway’s three largest McHale dealers: Fredrik Nannestad jr. AS, Jostein Skei AS and Traktor & Landbruk. Together they will work together on the importation of McHale machinery into Sørlandet region of Norway under the well-established Maskindrift AS name.

The three companies will continue to operate their respective dealerships in Rogaland, Innlandet, and Trøndelag, while also supporting Maskindrift AS in its role as importer. All current employees of Maskindrift AS will remain with the company, and Traktor & Landbruk AS, Fredrik Nannestad Jr. AS, and Jostein Skei AS will continue to operate as ordinary McHale dealers, in line with the wider dealer network. Maskindrift AS will remain a pure import company, as it is today.

Long-standing friends of McHale, Tom Arvid and Bent Gulbrandsen, also remain with Maskindrift AS, bringing nearly 60 years of combined industry experience and an extensive knowledge of the McHale brand.

Maskindrift AS has further strengthened its focus on dealer support with the introduction of a new premises at Industriveien 30, Grimstad, located close to the company’s original site at Nedre Nævisdal, Rykene.

Knut Helliesen has been appointed as the new CEO of Maskindrift AS, McHale wishes him and his entire team every success in the years ahead.
