McHale is an export driven manufacturer of agricultural grassline machinery, located in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo. McHale products can be seen working in 55 countries.

McHale is currently recruiting for General Operatives – Cutting. We are recruiting for both Day Shift and Evening Shift.

• Day Shift – 7.45am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am to 3.15pm on Friday.
• Evening Shift – 3.45pm to 12.30am Monday to Thursday and 3.45pm to 11.15pm on Friday.

This is a full-time permanent position, reporting to the Cutting Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team in a well organised Cutting Department.
• Organising and feeding steel to the Welding area.
• Cutting steel using specialised equipment.
• Identify any quality issues.
• Continuous improvement of standards in their workstation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in similar role, preferably in Manufacturing.
• Previous experience in CNC desirable.
• Forklift experience/ticket desirable.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• High level of enthusiasm and motivation and the ability to take input from others.
• Agricultural background is desirable but not essential.
